• Its superintendent is Doctor Charles Highsmith.
• Its staff included the Nurses Nurse Price, Nurse Evans and the orderly Frederick Long. It was later discovered that Evans was none other than Montague Edwards.
• Its patients included Alexander Roby and Lucius Harriwell.
• It was the location of the murders of Cuthbert Yates, Frederick Long and Thomas Clarke.
• It was visited by Doctor Frederick Bartlett on a number of occasions, who was also accompanied by Captain George Withers at times.
