St Agnes Asylum
A grim Victorian building on a hill overlooking the Herefordshire village of Weobley houses this lunatic asylum.
- Its superintendent is Doctor Charles Highsmith.
- Its staff included the Nurses Price and Evans and the orderly Frederick Long. Evans turned out to be none other than Montague Edwards.
- Its patients included Alexander Roby and Lucius Harriwell.
- It was visited by Doctor Frederick Bartlett on a number of occasions, who was also accompanied by Captain George Withers at times.
