Julian Knight

Julian is handsome and debonair but somewhat oily and some people find him almost instantly unlikable. Despite this he has a way with the ladies and considers himself God's Gift to women.

• Julian is a minor diplomat, recently posted to India. He was encountered on the Viceroy of India where he was one of the passengers on Table 8 in the Dining Room.
• On the Viceroy he consistently pursued Patricia Berry, forcing Withers to step in on several occasions to insulate her from his predatory 'affections'.
• Julian smokes and drinks heavily and is notably bad at every game or sport he turns his hand to, probably because he's more concerned about looking good than playing well.
• When Patricia came to him after Withers rejected her advances Knight disgraced himself by forcing himself on her whilst she was drunk. Withers found out about this rape and beat Knight severely before handing him over to the police. Henrietta Tullis pulled strings behind the scenes to get Julian's diplomatic immunity revoked, and Knight was charged with the rape and faces a long time in an Indian prison.
