Cthulhu Dark Ages was first released in 2004 and brought a new, visceral style of Mythos gaming to life. While a new version of Dark Ages was in development limbo (and even temporarily released) it wasn’t until 2020 that we finally saw a complete new edition (referred to as 3rd Edition) produced for the Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition ruleset.
Collected here are the various releases Unbound Publishing has produced for Cthulhu Dark Ages 3rd Edition:
The Stench of an Open Grave (3rd Edition Scenario)
A short adventure designed to introduce a small group of players to the atmosphere and intrigue of Cthulhu Dark Ages 3rd Edition for the first time. Ideal also for Keepers looking to run a dark – yet simple – mystery set in the early Middle Ages, it gives you everything you need (including three pregenerated characters – created specifically for the scenario) to bring this world – and its horrors – to life. Stench of an Open Grave (for Cthulhu Dark Ages 3rd Edition) is now available up on DrivethruRPG.com.

Cthulhu Dark Ages: Guide to England (1st Edition)
Cthulhu Dark Ages: Guide to England is a brief primer into the world of the Anglo-Saxon’s in 1000AD. This guide has been written to supplement the information detailed in the Cthulhu Dark Ages 1st edition rulebook, and introduces a number of suggested rule changes that help reflect the dangers and difficulties during this period of history. By no means comprehensive, it is hoped that this will be built on over time and guide other works in development.
Note: Much of the mechanics in this document have now been superseded with the release of Cthulhu Dark Ages – 3rd Edition. Nevertheless I thought this should remain available here for prosperity sake.
