Cec Watts

Reporter with the 'London World', it was Watts who wrote the story revealing the details of The Canal Murders, claiming the killer to be a monster. After Nathaniel Browne gave him a lead to Vincent Tuck and Lawrence Bacon, in the hope of learning more from Watts, the reporter disappeared - only to be fished out of the Regents canal two days later, the third and final victim of the killer.

When he was found he had Bacon's address in his pocket, suggesting he had spoken to Tuck after seeing Browne.
