The Tatters of the King

Published in mid 1929, this collection of short stories by Nathaniel Browne is inspired by, and expands upon, the work of Robert W Chambers.

Tatters of the King was dedicated to Talbot Estus and sold in numbers far exceeding the norm for the genre, garnering uniformly excellent reviews. There was great anticipation to see what 'this new, bright talent' would write next, although Browne would struggle with this expectation until events overtook him in later years.
