====== The White Acolyte ======

[[Alexander Roby]] stated that [[Malcolm Quarrie]] believes that [[The King in Yellow]] "has called himself the White Acolyte". The significance of this statement, if any, is unknown, but [[Umberto]] knows of the legend of [[Chaugnar Faughn]], the elephant-headed god of [[Tsang]] who is said to await the coming of 'The White Acolyte'. What possible relationship there may be between Chaugnar Faughn and the King in Yellow remainder unknown.

  * [[Malcolm Quarrie]] revealed that the followers of Chaugnar Faughn have been duped, and it is the King in Yellow who awaits the White Acolyte. This acolyte will free the King  from the [[Upper House]] and lead him back to earth. Quarrie hoped that he was the White Acolyte, but was never certain. 
  * While the true identify of the White Acolyte was never revealed, the King did looked upon [[Andrew Saunders]]  to guide him in their encounter in the Upper House.
